Bette Wilson

Bette Jeane Wilson, 87, of Ottumwa, died at 6:35 a.m. August 9, 2018 at Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa.
She was born November 27, 1930 in Iowa City to Bernard and Erma Anderson Fullmer. She married Frank V. Wilson on February 25, 1951.
A graduate of Hedrick High School, Betty had worked for 21 years in the offices of John Morrell & Co. as a key punch operator.
Bette was Past Royal Matron of Christina Court #3 Order of the Amaranth, Past Grand Matron of Amaranth of Iowa, Past Worthy Matron Ottumwa Chapter #112 Order of Eastern Star where she played the organ for meetings and installations of officers as well at both Masonic lodges, she was a member of Rose Chapter Order of Eastern Star #552, a member of Wapello White Shrine #4 and had been a member of Social Order of Beauceants #9.
Surviving is her husband, Frank and her son, Michael H. Wilson of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ramon and Norman Fullmer.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra.
Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
