Byron Lynn Craft Sr., 63, of West Grove, died at 4:04 p.m. January 23, 2018 at home.
He was born November 9, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Don and Mary Anderson Craft.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, he earned a degree in Applied Science from Indian Hills Community College. He had worked for Clow Valve in Oskaloosa.
Byron was a lifetime member of the NRA and loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He enjoyed taking care of his garden and sharing the produce with family and friends.
Surviving are his sons, Byron Craft Jr. and Matt Craft of West Grove; 9 grandchildren, Jacob, Jesse, Dale, Stephanie, Wyatt, Gunner, Kaden, Tucker and Sophia; 2 great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Sellwood; two brothers, Don (Danielle) Craft Jr. of Wyoming and Alfred Craft (Shenna Lipp) of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his father; two children, Don Craft and Debbie Craft; and a sister, Debbie Craft.
Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chisman Cemetery with Pastor Alan Paris officiating.
