Cameron's Story

Cameron "Cam" Eugene Loving, 74, of Ottumwa, died at 5:27 p.m. August 17, 2017 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born December 14, 1942 in Ottumwa to Cameron O. and Edna Archer Loving.
A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, Cam was a retired truck driver.
He loved sprint car and dirt car races at Knoxville. He also enjoyed playing pitch, fishing, Willie Nelson, painting and working on cars and being at Front Runners with his friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Taffi Loving of Mansfield, TX and Susan Tennison of Eldon; two sons, Cameron D. Loving of Albia and Floyd E. "Butch" Loving of Ottumwa, a step- son, Billy Vest, of Davenport, a brother-in-law, Larry Bachman; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cameron O. Loving; his mother, Edna Shaw; a daughter, Lori Williams; and a sister, Carole Bachman.
Per his request, his body has been cremated. No services are planned.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
