Donna Fisher

Donna Fisher Donna D. Fisher, 87, of Ottumwa, died at 9:15 p.m. November 28, 2018 at Vista Woods Care Center.
She was born December 29, 1930 in Rock Island, IL to Floyd LeRoy and Geraldine L. Huntley. She married Robert M. Fisher Sr. on December 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death in February 3, 2002.
Donna had worked assisting with physical therapy at St. Joseph Hospital and Ottumwa Hospital.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick Altar & Rosary Society and helped with the funeral dinners. She enjoyed playing golf, playing cards and watching her grandchildren.
Surviving are her sons, Robert "Butch" (Candy) Fisher Jr. of Ottumwa, Dr. Dennis D. (Ann) Fisher of Kansas City, MO and Jerry Fisher of Ottumwa; grandchildren, Wes Fisher, Lauren Strathman, Robert Fisher, Kelly Gravett, Matt Fisher, Kyle Fisher and Krista Sandt; step-grandchildren, Jenny VanNess and Jessica Thompson; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Nebelle of Mt. Pleasant and a sister-in-law, Tish Huntley of California.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Huntley Jr. and a brother-in-law, Dick Nebelle.
Her body has been cremated. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic with Father Patrick Hilgendorf presiding. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospitals.
