Donna Mae Hucks St. Clair, 74, of Ottumwa, died at 9:45 p.m. December 3, 2017 at Fonda Specialty Care in Fonda.
She was born June 27, 1943 in Ottumwa to Donald Vernon and Maude Maxine Mort Hucks. She married James Allen St. Clair on April 5, 1965 in Ottumwa and they later divorced.
A 1962 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Donna graduated from William Penn College in 1986 with a degree in Home Economics.
She served a short time in the U.S. Air Force. Donna was a homemaker, had delivered the Ottumwa Courier for several years and was a Foster Grandparent.
She attended Point of Grace. Donna loved to crochet and knit and made mittens for children and blankets for the homeless and veterans.
Surviving are her daughters, Jerri (Kendall) Minter of Oskaloosa and Deborah (Michael) Hamilton of Canton, TX; 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy, Misty, Michael and Delaney; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, her twin Sandra Faye Jones, Janice Elaine Benedict and Barbara (Mike) Crowder all of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Point of Grace with Pastor Paul Hughes officiating. Inurnment will be in Shaul Cemetery.
