Kenny Weston

October 07, 1946 - September 29, 2018

Kenny Weston of Eastman, Wisconsin, went to join our Lord and Savior on September 29th after suffering a stroke.
Kenny was born October 7, 1946, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of John and Marjorie Weston. Ken graduated from Ottumwa High School and began working for Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids in 1965. In October 1965 he married Norma Rose. They divorced after 34 years of marriage.
After Quaker Oats, Ken began working for the then Milwaukee Railroad and eventually transferred to Ottumwa. He eventually worked for the Canadian Pacific line out of Marquette, Iowa, and retired as a locomotive engineer in 2011 after 30 years of service.
Ken was a car enthusiast and owned many over the years. He enjoyed car shows, The Packers, and recently had gotten back to an old family tradition of making homemade ice cream -- delicious ice cream! Ken's fighting spirit helped him overcome 2 separate bouts with cancer. He is survived by his sister, Judith Hulett (Wilbert), of Moline, Illinois; two daughters, Tracy Servey (Jon) of Swisher, Iowa, and Heidi Krafka, of Bettendorf, Iowa; as well as four grandchildren, Jonathan, Brynn, Nicholas and Macy; special friend, Beryl "Cookie" Thompson; and many cousins in the Ottumwa area. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved golden retriever, Emma.
Ken was a loyal friend to many and will be missed for his sense of humor, quick wit and big smile. Special thanks to the caring staff at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse and Bland Bekkedal Center for Hospice Care in Viroqua, WI.

Well, little brother, you always wanted to be first in everything...first out the door, first to run out to the car to sit in the front seat, first one to run down the street to gramma's house etc. Now you're first to get to Heaven and see Jesus, now you get to celebrate your birthday tomorrow with Him! Love you and miss you so much. See you soon.
