Lloyd Larson

In the early morning of March 1, Lloyd Larson passed away peacefully of natural causes at the age of 82.
He was born to the late Clarence and Signa in Ottumwa, Iowa. Lloyd was the oldest of four children: younger brother was Larry Lee, sisters Linda Lenore and Lois Louise.
After finishing high school he enlisted in the Air Force. He met and married Wraylene Rapp; they had three children: Laura Leanne, Lacey Lynette and Lane LaVerne. Clarence and Signa started a tradition that Lloyd continued in his family with the triple L's (L L L). In the Air Force, he got his one and only tattoo: L. L. L.
Lloyd enjoyed playing and watching many sports, including playing golf, which he excelled at. He liked gardening and traveling. Among his travels he went to China and walked on the Great Wall, to Panama and through the Panama Canal, to Sweden, Hawaii and across Canada by train. He had a small orchard at his home in WA. Lloyd cherished his time with friends and family.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry; first wife Wraylene; and second wife, Bobbie. He is survived by his sisters Linda, Lois; and his third wife Bernie. He is also survived by his three children, Laura (Todd), Lacey (Doug) and Lane (Nichola); 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Lloyd's remains have been cremated. A veteran's military memorial will be held May 3 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
