Mark Brown
God saw you getting tired & a cure was not to be.
So, he put his arms around you & whispered "come to me".
Mark W. Brown, passed away on October 4th at the age of 62. He was born November 1956 to Herman and Myrtle Brown. He was a 1975 graduate of Ottumwa High School and worked at Lowenberg Bakery, then for the City of Ottumwa for over 25 years. He bought his farm over 30 years ago and loved spending time riding horses, caring for cattle and watching the wildlife roam. Dad truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as trail riding, hunting, and visiting with friends and family. He was a good man, and the hardest working person I have ever known. His memory will forever be survived by the wonderful family and friends that have been there through his struggles. We will all miss him dearly. There will be a Celebration of Life at Zion Community Church of God on Copperhead Rd, Ottumwa on Tuesday, October 8th at 11:00am to reminisce and share in a service and meal.

Grandpa was an old soul with a big and kind heart. I remember all of the fun times all of the kids would have out on his farm. Dedicated wholeheartedly to his family, he’s truly a man that will live on as time passes through generations. I love you and you will be missed greatly.
