Richard "Rick" Lee Manley, 64, of Ottumwa died at 11:40 a.m. January 24, 2018 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
He was born April 17, 1953 in Ottumwa. He married Lisa Sanford on April 16, 1982 in Ottumwa.
A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, Rick had worked four years as a maintenance man for Good Samaritan Society. His passion had been landscaping, lawn maintenance and tree work for the community.
Rick was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting and loved spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Lisa; two daughters, Kati (Jay) Anele of Oskaloosa and Latisha Manley of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Ella and Emma; a sister, Teri Covert of Perry; a brother, John (Jenny) Abel, Jr. of Blakesburg; his mother, Velma Abel of Blakesburg.
He was preceded in death by his stepdad, John Abel, Sr. and a brother, Kevin Manley.
His body had been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
