Sherry Louise Seibert Lamb, 76, of Moulton, Iowa passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville, Iowa with her family at her bedside. She was born March 25, 1941 in Appanoose County, Iowa to Delmar Mike Henry and Fleta Louise Kirby Seibert. She married Wayne Dean Lamb, her husband of 58 years, on August 2, 1959 in Altoona, Iowa. This union was blessed with three children, Bonnie (Bob) Brisendine of Blakesburg, Iowa, Kelly (Fred) Brandt of Lucas, Iowa, Jeff (Teresa) Lamb of Indianola, Iowa.
Sherry was a homemaker and a former bookkeeper at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri. She and Wayne operated a successful farming operation for 45 years until their retirement in 2011. Her love for gardening, bird-watching, and beautiful flowers was evident by the gorgeous display of colors every Spring in her yard. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother; husband; children; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony (Barb) Seibert of Moulton, Iowa, Phil (Vicki) Seibert of Altoona, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Marty Toby Seibert.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Sonny Smyser officiating. Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery near Moulton. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 3-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
