Tom Bruch Thomas Bruch
Thomas Tom Bruch, 63, of Minnetonka, MN died on November 20, 2018 after a courageous battle with blood cancer. He was born on September 1, 1955 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Harold and Betty (nee Allar) Bruch.

Tom was a graduate of Ottumwa High School, attended the University of Iowa and was an HVAC graduate of Hennepin Technical College. He loved life, the outdoors, his dogs and his friendship and 40-year marriage to Nancy. With his extensive abilities, experience and mechanical aptitude he worked in varied fields and served many. Tom lived with integrity, an open heart and open hand for all. His sense of humor and smile were contagious and welcomed by all who had the privilege to know him. A man of simple faith, living one day at a time, he died too soon and will be sorely missed.

Tom is survived by his wife Nancy, parents Harold and Betty Bruch, brother Christopher, sister Katherine (Terry) Martinson, brother Philip (Karen), several nieces and nephews and a large network of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Bruch.

My heart goes out to you in the loss of Tom. I think of him at Wildwood School Summer Recreation program where I first met him in 1962. He was a wonderful example of what we want our children to be. I only know that he is embraced by Ruth and knows no pain or suffering. I will be in touch soon. Love to you.

I wouldn't have made it through my days in Iowa City without Tom's generosity and friendship. He was the heart and soul of the "Ozone Rangers". We will miss you buddy.
