Tina Lee Snyder was born April 30, 1968 in Ottumwa, IA to Tom and Sharon Henrichs Hemm. She grew up in Eldon and attended Cardinal High School where she graduated with the class of 1986. Upon graduation she attended Indian Hills Community College where she obtained her degree in Business Accounting. She immediately put her degree to work as business manager at Airgas and later Tenco. During this time, she married the love of her life, Eric Snyder. They began their journey together as husband and wife in Las Vegas in 1997. From this point forward they were always by each other's side. Tina worked as business manager for the Cardinal Community School District and the Ottumwa AEA while doing the books for Snyder Construction. Tina and Eric also worked together as owners of the Red Rooster for several years. Tina was always busy. She loved spending time outdoors whether it was mowing, mushroom hunting, feeding the birds, caring for flowers, or taking a ride to check her cows. When she had to stay inside she always enjoyed reading a good book. She loved all animals, and spent a short time raising German Shorthairs and Chinchillas before starting River Ridge Mini Herefords in 2007. As the business grew, so did the time with family and friends traveling and prepping for the shows. They began showing at the State Fair in 2008 and have been there every year since, as well as traveling to shows in Denver, Louisville, Ohio, and Kansas City. She always took time to share her love of the animals and her knowledge of showmanship with the younger generations. In the winter Tina and Eric would travel south to warmer weather in Texas but were always glad to come home to family and friends. Tina was the glue that held things together and the "go to" when you needed something. She always made sure to have it written down on a post-it notes to help keep things straight. She enjoyed bowling and "Beer and Trash Night" with friends. The kindness and love that Tina had for people casted a wide net that extended well beyond blood relatives to the many friends she considered family. She had a deep love for those close to her, especially her grandchildren. She created an environment where all were welcome, and she leaves behind a legacy of family and friends that will proudly share her story.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sharon Hemm.
Left to share her story is her loving husband, Eric Snyder of Eldon, IA; a son, Nick (Stefany) Snyder of Eldon, IA; two grandchildren, Maxley and Calvin Snyder; one brother, Ron (Kim) Hemm of Washington, IA; her close friends, Mary Nell Northup, Paula (Jack) Carter, Heidi (Kenny) Kildow, Dawn (Craig) Brown, Heather (John) Berhle, as well as many friends that she considered family and were a part of Team Tina.

I worked for Airgas when Tina started working there. Because I lived in Ottumwa we rode together often...so had many a great conversation with her. She was a neat person to be around and I always enjoyed catching up with her after we moved out of the area. Sadly I hadn't done that for several years. My sincere condolences to you all...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Even through the last ten years the lack of communication. I still loved my sister. She will be missed very much. I have always loved her & she was always in my heart all the time. She was my sister know matter what. I remember a time when Dad, I and Tina was out in the river by the cabin. We were enjoying a nice sunny day fishing. The birds were singing . The sky was blue. Next thing I knew Tina started screaming a bird poop on her head. I thought it was funny. She didn't think it was funny at all. I will always remember the good old times we had growing up. I will miss her very much. The heavens will open up with open arms. Thanks Ronny
