Tommy  Foster


Thomas Carlton Foster, 41, of Ottumwa, died May 25, 2019 at his home.
He was born April 29, 1978 in Ottumwa to Richard and Rose Brown Foster.
A 1996 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he had worked at Taco Johns in Ottumwa. While living in Denver, CO for 10 years, he had worked at a 7-Eleven. Tommy moved back to Ottumwa in 2011 and had worked at Walmart.
Tommy loved his dog Alejandro and enjoyed playing board games and video games and attending board game conventions.
Surviving are his father and mother, Richard and Rose Foster of Ottumwa; four sisters, Angie (John) Catalano of Pleasant Hill, Selena (Randy) Barker of Grimes, Liza (Patrick) Garrett of Ottumwa and Jessica (Derrick) Rohe of Audubon; many nieces and nephews; a great-nephew; several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Doug McAntire officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the family.

My heart felt condolences to all of you. I don't have to tell you how wonderful a person Tommy was, you already know that. He was loved by so many and will be truly missed. I pray for peace of heart and mind for all of you. I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to all of you and an extra one for your Mama.
