Ginny Aleen Addison Virginia Aleen Addison "Ginny", daughter of Homer Edward Cox and Wanda Maxine (Kelly) Cox was born July 3, 1930 in Red Oak, Iowa and passed from this life Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Homestead Assisted Living in Osceola, Iowa at 88 years of age.

Ginny grew up in Red Oak, Iowa and graduated from Red Oak High School. She was united in marriage to George Elias Addison on July 10, 1949 at Red Oak, IA and 2 children blessed this union, Mark and Sandra. Ginny and George have lived in Lamars, Sioux City and in 1962 they moved to Ottumwa where they lived until 2016 when they moved to Osceola, Iowa.

When Ginny was young she enjoyed roller skating and dancing on roller skates, she also enjoyed bowling. Ginny's great love was being with her grandkids. She was a former member of the Wesley Methodist Church in Ottumwa. Ginny worked at a small grocery and convenience store for a few years, she also provided in home health care.

Those relatives who preceded Virginia in death were her parents, Homer and Wanda, daughter, Sandra, brother, Ralph Cox, and sister, Carolyn Hoyt.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 69 years, George Addison of Osceola, IA, son, Mark (Diane) Addison of Osceola, IA, grandchildren, Travis Addison and his significant other Elaine and their son George of San Francisco, CA, Troy (Naomi) Addison and their children Jameson and Tatianna of Bossier City, LA, sister, Darlene Sorensen of Red Oak, IA, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Cremation was entrusted to Kale Funeral home in Osceola.
