Wilda Marie Prevett, 66, of Stockport, IA and formerly of Eldon, IA passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, IA. As were her wishes, her body had been cremated with no services planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be mailed to 207 9th St., Eldon, IA 52554 and will be used for a memorial to be placed in her honor. Wilda Marie Prevett was born April 29, 1952 in Ottumwa, IA to Ralph and Vivian Cudworth Kempf. She graduated from Cardinal High School and shortly after married Larry Grove. They spent over 30 years together and became the proud parents of two boys, Ben and Josh. Life eventually took Larry and Wilda in different directions, and in March of 2000 she was united in marriage to Glen Prevett. They remained by each other's side until Glen passed away in 2011. Wilda spent her life as a homemaker and mother. She loved to fish and hunt for mushrooms, as well as following her grandchildren's sports and activities.
Wilda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen Prevett, and two siblings, Gloria Conyers and Henry Kempf.
Left to honor her memory are her children Ben (Kim) Grove and Josh Grove, both of Eldon, IA; four grandchildren, Logan Grove, Gavin Grove, Mason
Grove and Andrew Murphy; five brothers, Ralph Kempf, Donald Kempf, Paul Kempf, Gary Kempf and Chester Kempf; one sister, Carolyn Sanderson, as well as many extended family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Wilda's passing, I know she fought a long & hard battle. I always enjoyed seeing her & Glen, he was my favorite uncle and the 2 of them were a good match. Love to you boys & your families, she will be missed.

We had a lot of good visits at our cabin on the river at Keosauqua. Wilda and Glen were there visiting a lot. Ben and Kim your boys spent the day hunting frogs down there . They had a good time and had us all laughing. Sorry for your loss.
