Marilyn Joyce Lindsey, 71, of 1003 S. James St., died at 1:10 p.m. February 5, 2017 at University Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
She was born November 16, 1945 in Ottumwa to Daniel and Helen Mooney Robinson. She married Paul Lindsey Sr. on January 8, 1966 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2009.
Marilyn had worked for over 25 years at Good Samaritan Center.
She was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God.
Surviving are three sons, Paul Lindsey Jr., Ricky Lindsey and Travis Lindsey all of Ottumwa; a step-son, Dean Lindsey-Fink of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren including Joshua Huffman who was raised in the home; a great-grandson; two brothers, Bill and Danny Robinson both of Ottumwa; two sisters, Dora Robinson of Centerville and Marie Robinson of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Huffman and a sister, Betty Howard.
Her body has been cremated.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
