Ronda Lynn Hamm, 57, of rural Wapello County, died at 4:50 a.m. January 9, 2017 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born November 22, 1959 to Jerry Dean and Dolores R. Jones Griffiths Sr. She married Ron Hamm on February 14, 1985.
A graduate of Hedrick High School, she earned a degree as a LPN from Indian Hills Community College. She had worked at various nursing homes, for Internal Medicine and most recently at Highland Place.
Ronda enjoyed going to casinos and shopping the clearance aisles. She loved decorating her home and working with her flowers and crafts, and she loved Mickey Mouse.
Surviving is her husband, Ron; her daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Archer of Albia, Linda (Tony) Paris of Ottumwa, Stephanie (Russ) Doty of Kansas City, MO and Krissy (Aaron) Wood of Ottumwa; 9 grandchildren, Gavin, Rowen, Claire, Tyson, Austin, Jerron, Jewels, Dayton and Josslyn; three sisters, Rachel (Allen) Brunner and Deana (Glen) Prevett Jr. both of Ottumwa, Sheila (Greg) McDowell of Blakesburg; a brother, Jerry D. (Tina) Griffiths Jr. of Bloomfield; several nieces and nephews and her dogs, Daisy and Lizzy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her body has been cremated.
A time to celebrate her life will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
