Larry Steven Rupe, 66, of Eldon died at 10:40 p.m. February 17, 2017 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
He was born September 30, 1950 to Doyle and Willa Batterson Rupe.
A graduate of Cardinal High School, he worked at John Morrell & Co. in Ottumwa, Dexter in Fairfield and as a security guard at Cargill Meat Solutions in Ottumwa.
Surviving are his siblings, Jim and wife, Linda Rupe of Ottumwa, Barb and husband, Doug Black of Ottumwa, Becky and husband, Bill Jobe of Rapids City, IL, Martin and wife Cindy Rupe of Bladensburg and Melvin Rupe of Pueblo West, CO and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fiedler Cemetery.
Visitation begins after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
