Twila M. Schultz, 85, of Ottumwa, died at 7:45 p.m. August 16, 2017 at Vista Woods Care Center.
She was born October 23, 1931 in Beardstown, IL to Frank and Adalene Espeland Clark. She married Ronald Ross in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She married Arnold Schultz on July 23, 2003.
A 1949 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Twila attended Indian Hills Community College. She had worked as a labor relations secretary for John Morrell & Co. and was an engineering analyst for John Deere Ottumwa Works. Twila worked for John Deere in Moline, IL and then in New Jersey and transferred back to John Deere Ottumwa Works, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Altar & Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas had volunteered for Hospice Serving Davis & Wapello Counties, a member of the Friendship Group at Willard St. United Methodist Church, a member and past secretary/treasurer for AARP and a member of Ottumwa Women's Club.
Surviving is her husband, Arnie of Georgia; two grandsons, Bob (Barbara) Ross and Rueben (Kim) Ross; 5 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlin and Zachary Ross, Megan Humble and Sam Ross; a sister, Arlene and a brother, Gene Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce Ross; a sister, Maxine White and two brothers, Howard and Dick Clark.
Her body has been donated to the Des Moines University Anatomy Department and no services are planned.
