Beverly Jeane (Morris) Pacheco went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Bev was born in Fairfield, Iowa on August 29, 1941 and spent her childhood in the town of Stockport. Bev was the oldest daughter of Max and Betty (Hoaglin). She leaves her sister, Patricia Ritter-Waltrup, of Hudson, MA; Elizabeth (Tyke) Marrton of Chino, CA; Robert Morris and his wife, Lolly, of Rocklin, CA; Raymond Morris and his wife, Connie, of Keosauqua, IA; Ramona Ritchhart and her husband, Roger, of Owasso, OK; Virgil Morris, and his wife Cindy, of Keosauqua, IA and Irma Lewis and her husband Don, of Windsor Heights, IA.

Bev's lifelong ambition was to be a nurse. After High School, Bev went on to graduate as a registered nurse in the Burlington Hospital program in Burlington, IA. It was during that time that Bev met her first husband, Robert A. Fendrych II. After her graduation, she accompanied him to California in 1963. They married in Carmel, CA in January of 1964 and resided in Long Beach, CA while he served in the Navy. Together they had three children; Carmen, who resides in Milford, MA with her husband, Paul Goodrich; Robert A. Fendrych III, who resides in Carmichael, CA and Raymond A. Fendrych who lives with his soul mate, Charlotte Blake, in Sacramento, CA with two of Bev's grandchildren, Jade and Iris. She delighted in their calls, artwork and especially enjoyed their unique personalities during visits.

Bev lived and worked in Roseville, CA for most of her adult life. It was there that she fell in love and married her second husband, John J. Pacheco, on December 19, 1980. They enjoyed many motorcycle rides up and down the West Coast together. John provided Beverly with a whole new family to love and care for. She embraced and loved each as her own, never exhibiting a favorite among her children, step-children, grandchildren or step-grandchildren. Bev is survived by her oldest step-daughter, Carmen and her husband, Frank Guerro, and two grandchildren; Gracie and Manuel. Second came Bev's step-daughter, Anna Pacheco, who blessed Bev with four more grandchildren; Rose, Frankie, Lydia and Alex. Third came Bev's step-daughter, Isabel Lozano, who added another four grandchildren; Rudy, John, Mona and Teresa, who predeceased her grandma. Next came Rachel, who with her husband, Rafa Solies, added four more grandchildren; Raphael, Vicente, Armando and Alexa. Bev's oldest step-son, John Jr, blessed her with five grandchildren; Teresa, Selena, Sheila, John and Carmen Marie. Bev's second step-son is Andrew Pacheco. He has three kids; Joshua, Nathaniel and Naomi. Bev's next step-daughter is Patricia Pacheco who added three grandchildren; Monica, Anthony and Poncho who predeceased his grandma as well. Bev's youngest step-daughter is Gina Lozano who blessed Bev with five more grandsons; JJ, Joseph, Rene, Sam and Luke. Family and faith were the bedrock of John and Bev's life. They enjoyed cooking and baking cookies with their grandkids. They took an active participation in each one's lives and provided the spiritual backbone that helped them grow as people. Bev delighted in their exploration of the Bible, helping them sort through difficult questions with thought and care. She always had time to listen to their problems with a genuine faith-based heart.

John predeceased his wife on June 29, 2001. After his loss, Bev went to Romblon, Philippines in November 2002 for two years to fulfill her desire to serve as a Christian missionary. Upon returning stateside, she lived in Crescent City, CA for a year, traveled to see her children, grandchildren, siblings and family, finally returning to her roots in Keosauqua, IA in 2005.
