Ottumwa, Iowa - It's with a heavy heart and a deep sadness that Bill passed away December 24, 2025.
Bill was born on April 25, 1938 in Centerville, Iowa to Lewis Conley and Bessie Wright.
He began his career at Morrell and then John Deere where he retired after 30 plus years. He loved fishing, hunting, traveling and socializing with friends around Ottumwa and loved going to the casino. He loved being a father and enjoyed being an active grandfather.
He is survived by his five children Portia, Logan, William, Pilar Conley and Tiffany Cline. He will be missed by grandson Jordan Conley, 14 other grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings Richard Conley, Rachel Brown, Karen Allen and Marie Burks.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donald and Robert Conley and sister Betty Martis.
Celebration of life will be held on February 7, 2026 in Ottumwa at Hickory Grove Church.
