Cecilia Loving, 71, of Richland, died Wednesday September 7, 2022, at University Hospital in Iowa City. She was born in Ottumwa, IA May 19, 1951, the daughter of Leonard Rex and Marvel Edith Redmon McCarrol. Cecilia grew up in Agency and attended Cardinal High School and married Charles Steen. They later divorced. She married Darrell Loving in Fairfield on May 19, 1981. Cecilia worked several jobs: waitress, school cook and at Trioak Foods in Richland for several years but her favorite was homemaker. She was a member of the Richland United Methodist Church.

Cecilia is survived by her partner of 43 years, Darrell of Richland, three children: Tom Steen (Robyn) and Scott Steen (Mary) both of Richland and Kristy Leppert of Fairfield, 8 grandchildren: Jessie, Renee, Cody, Charles, Courtney, Chelsea, Christina and Calli, 15 great grandchildren and one sister: Joan Gillespie of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cecilia had requested cremation with a Celebration of Life at a later date. General memorials may be mailed to Darrell at 28885 320th Street, Richland, IA 52585-0151. Gould Funeral Home of Richland is assisting the family.
