Ottumwa, Iowa - Danny J. Bircher, 79, of Ottumwa died March 29, 2026, after losing his battle with cancer. He was born February 21, 1947, to Lonnie and Edna Brown Bircher on their farm near Munterville, Iowa. After graduating from Eddyville High School, he married Connie J. Armentrout on August 27, 1965. To this union were born four children. He is survived by his wife and children (spouses), 19 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings (spouses), and 3 nephews. A Remembrance of Life will be held June 20th from 1-5 at the residence.
