Daryl was the nicest man and a good friend when my sister and I lived in Ottumwa in the early 1970's. We rented a small apartment on the third floor (attic, really) and he was one of the only people that would climb those stairs to come visit us. We'd sit under the black light and listen to Neil Young and the Moody Blues. I always loved Daryl and I am happy that he is at peace.
