Fairfield, Iowa - Jean "Jeannie" Roland Kinsella age 77 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Sunnybrook Assisted Living.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Jeannie was born April 17, 1943, in Des Moines, IA to Joseph Roland and Mildred (Konrad) Yochum. She married Richard Lyle Kinsella on July 30, 1962, in Minneapolis, MN. He passed away March 6, 2012.

Jeannie graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Des Moines, Iowa. She attended St Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield. Jeannie worked at Nelson Nursing Home for 30 years as a Dietician Aide. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. While her kids were young, she and Richard would attend their kids school activities and this support continued with the grandkids. When her health allowed, she would go to Fairfield Park and Rec and pool walk with a group of ladies. Jeannie also enjoyed having coffee with her friends.

Jeannie is survived by her four children, Kierston (David) Pacha of Brighton, Julie Harvey and Tim Kinsella of Fairfield and Christopher (Heidi) Kinsella of Castle Rock, CO; 8 grandchildren, Tyler Pacha of Chicago, IL, Taryn Mottet of Fairfield, Abbi and Ashley Kinsella of Castle Rock, CO, Cameron Harvey of Fairfield, Shelby Mass of Oak Harbor, WA, Chandler Mass of the Woodlands, TX and Zane Mass of Miami, FL; 5 great grandchildren, Brogan, Avanley, Phaelan, Ryker and Magnus; and her siblings, Mary Anne (Tony) Lapasso of Chicago, IL, Kathy Yochum (Steve Cox) of Boise, ID and Patrick (Elaine) Yochum of Santa Barbara, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred; and husband, Richard.
