Omaha, Nebraska - Kathleen Vera Kopatich, 90 of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of Centerville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.

Kathleen was born to Fabian & Victoria (Blozevich) Thomas on January 13, 1930 in Centerville. She received her education at Centerville High School. On May 3, 1952, Kathleen was united in marriage to Fred Kopatich at St. Mary's Catholic Church. From this union came three children: Tom, Susan and Greg.

Kathleen spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed her church family. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her friends at the local coffee shops. Of all things, Kathleen enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Tom Kopatich (Ann), Susan Lacy (Pat), Greg Kopatich (Laurie), nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, parents and sisters: Pauline Allardyce and Marie Raskie.

Funeral mass was held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation was 2 hours prior to service on Saturday with the Rosary starting at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
