Our beloved Kathy Jo Doyle (Sanchez), age 67, of Ottumwa and formerly of Colorado suddenly passed away peacefully from a massive stroke Friday, September 18th, 2020.
Kathy will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving and kind, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her most cherished moments were driving through the mountains in Colorado with her son and time spent with her family and friends.
Kathy enjoyed gardening fresh tomatoes and flowers, crossword puzzles, bingo, playing on her tablet, cooking and was famous for her cherry pie.
She is survived by her children, Tony Doyle, Maria Doyle, Angela Doyle (Ruby); sisters, Patricia Sanchez, Teresa Baldyga; nephew, David Corder ll; niece, Crystal Rukgaber; grandchildren, Jaden Doyle, Kaleb Sparks, Nicole Ruby, Austin Wilkins, Briana Wilkins, Marilyn Wilkins; great grandchild, Natalie Wilson.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Sanchez Sr, Isabella Baker; nephew, Bobby Corder and grandchild Elijah Leahy.
Tiana Rivera will be performing a celebration of Kathy's life at the knights of columbus in ottumwa on Sunday, October 11th from 12-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Kathy's family requests donations be made in her honor to the heartland humane society of ottumwa.
