Lloyd Thomas Greiner, age 77, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the Jefferson County Health Center, Fairfield, Iowa. There is no service at this time.

Lloyd was born on April 21, 1946, to Clarence and Doris (Mallinger) Greiner in Fairfield, Iowa. He married Iona Jane Vogt on July 14, 1966 in Fairfield. She passed away on February 29, 2020.

Lloyd graduated from Fairfield High School Class of 1964. He worked at Iowa Mallable & Iron Company and retired after working there for 40 years. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard.

Lloyd will be missed by his children and their spouses: James (Lori) Greiner, Crystal (Shane) Amendt, and Colette Greiner; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Greiner, Scott Greiner, Landen (Haley) Greiner, Mikaela Amendt, and Morgan Amendt; one great granddaughter, Karter Greiner; and his siblings, Karlene Holt, of Rome and Helen Nicolson, of Mt. Pleasant.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, parents and siblings: Ruth Smith, Irene Simons, Betty Roush, Jerry Greiner, William Greiner, and Martha Roberts.
