I'm so very sorry for your loss. Lucille was a neighbor of mine for many years. I lived on Elm. I had a dog named Rex that I worried was getting sick. He quit eating but, didn't lose weight. I had a big laugh when your mom and dad told me that Rex would walk down to their house every morning where he would announce his arrival with one bark. They would come to the door to greet and feed him.
