MAX E. RUPE Obituary

BELLEVUE, NE - BELLEVUE [mdash] Max E. Rupe, 95, of Omaha, passed away on August 25, 2025. Born Jan. 9, 1930, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Dale and Sylvia (Clark) Rupe. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, later earning his MBA from Parsons College and his Nebraska CPA certification. Max was married to Shirley Ann Speer (Bloomfield, IA) for 73 years, and together they shared a love of travel, family, and community. A Master Mason since 1961, he also enjoyed fishing, boating, and live entertainment. He is survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and sisters Helen Davis (Agency, IA) and Mary Murray (Geveva, IL). Services will be held at the West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, NE 68124. Memorials are suggested to Breakthrough Diabetes Chapter T1D (formerly JDRF) and the Nebraska Masonic Home, Plattsmouth, NE

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on 2025-09-02 at WEST CENTER CHAPEL, 7805 W. Center Rd.

A masonic service will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM on 2025-09-02 at WEST CENTER CHAPEL, 7805 W. Center Rd.

A graveside service will be held from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM on 2025-09-02 at EVERGREEN CEMETERY WITH MILITARY HONORS, 2300 S. 78TH ST.
