Chandler, Arizona - Maxine Charlotte Proctor Moore, 96, of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Ottumwa died at 2:20 am June 26, 2025 at Hospice of the Valley-Friendship Village in Tempe, Arizona.
She was born February 9, 1929 in Ottumwa to Wallace and Lottie Swaim Proctor. She married Rex Moore August 18, 1946. He preceded her in death October 16, 2006.
She worked at Williams Dairy, Morrells, Burlington Ordinance Plant, and Everco, retiring from Everco. She was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God in Ottumwa.
Surviving are her children: Pamela Moore Borron of Chandler, Arizona; Bill Moore of Gilbert, Arizona; Gary (Rita) Moore of Grapeland, Texas; Linda Moore of Chandler, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and sister-in-laws, Kenneth (Wonetta), Roy (Edna), Esta (Doris), William (Lela), Glenn (Jean) Proctor, an infant sister, and a granddaughter Jennifer LaPoint.
Her body has been cremated. Graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Assembly of God in Ottumwa.
