Ottumwa, Iowa - Edna Maxine Richman, 83, of Ottumwa passed away October 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 15, 1942 in Ottumwa to Edna Katherine Norton Walker and Beryl O. Sample. Maxine married Ray Dean Richman and he preceded her in death June 17, 2007.
Maxine enjoyed watching wildlife in her yard, spending time at Rutledge Flea Markets and visiting casinos.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joe Burch and Jeffrey Burch; 2 brothers, Gary Sample and Larry Sample; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her companion, Dave Harland.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
