Ottumwa, IA - Michael Allen Heady Sr., of Ottumwa, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on July 19, 1955.

Michael loved riding his Harley and going to Sturgis in the summers, where he made many great memories. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was camping, boating, or riding his Harley, and he always tried to make it a good time.

He loved his family and friends deeply and especially enjoyed going on cruises to find old classic cars to Missouri with his good friend, Mike Johnston, known to many as "Big Mike." In later years Michael found happiness relaxing at home with his family or friends, always wearing the big smile that so many people will never forget.

Michael was well liked and will be remembered as a kind, friendly man who enjoyed life and the people around him. He will be remembered for his kindness, easygoing nature, and the friendships he built throughout his life. Above all, he was a proud Father to his son.

He was cremated at Memorial Services of Iowa.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Heady Jr. Services will be held at a later date.
