Elizabeth Pauline Clubb, 89, of Keosauqua and formerly of Douds, Iowa passed away on May 4, 2020 at Keosauqua Health Care Center. She was born on August 3, 1930 to Harold and Marie Burrows Eakins in Davis County, Iowa. Pauline graduated from Davis County High School and she married Roger Clubb on December 26, 1955 in Oskaloosa. Together, Roger and Pauline raised two boys, Duane and Darrell on the family farm in Van Buren County. Roger preceded her in death on November 20, 2009. Pauline was housewife and she assisted Roger with the chores on the farm. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and tending to her house plants.
She is survived by two sons, Duane Clubb (Teresa) of Brimingham, Darrell Clubb (Cathy) of Keosauqua; three grandchildren, Jeremy Clubb (Erin) of Farifield, Brandon Clubb (Ali) of Cantril, Bridgette Hintermeister (Brian) of Cedar Rapids; five great-granddaughters, Felicia, Morgan, Harper, Rylee, Leah; and sister-in-law, Peggy Eakins of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marie Eakins; husband, Roger Clubb; siblings, Gerald Eakins, Delbert Eakins, and Hazel Olive.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. Due to circumstances with Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Pauline's honor may be made to EveryStep Hospice of Mt. Pleasant and can be mailed to Darrell Clubb, 17232 Ivory Rd., Keosauqua, Iowa 52565.
