Lombard, IL - Ronald E. Avery, age 64, of Lombard, formerly of Ottumwa, IA, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2025.

Loving husband of Linda Hallenstein; beloved stepfather of Christopher and Cory (Amanda) Hallenstein; Step Grandfather of Blair and Juliet; cherished brother of Katherine (Dennis) Kurt and Charles; dear son of the late Donald and Jennie; fond uncle of Brian (Laurel) and Megan (Bill) Heck; Great uncle of Gemma, Virginia, Cecilia, Wesley and Brooks.

Ron was a landscaper for many years and a proud employee of Russo Power and Barefoot Grass. He loved traveling and being outdoors. Ron also enjoyed photography.
