Oskaloosa, IA - Shirley Mae Widger, 83, of Oskaloosa, formerly of Eddyville, died at 1:12 PM September 19, 2025 at Northern Mahaska Specialty Care in Oskaloosa.

She was born July 13, 1942 to Bennjamin F. (Frank) and Golda Mae Johnson Stuchel.

She married Dan Campbell and had one son, Brian. They later divorced.

She married Hershell Widger June 5, 1977. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2018.

She was a graduate of Eddyville High School, class of 1960.

She was a member of the Davis Street Christian Church.

She worked in administration at Tenco for many years.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her family. She loved her step-children and thier families like her very own.

Surviving are her son, Brian Campbell of Oskaloosa; step-children, Pam Connor of Tulsa, OK, Rodney (Angie) Widger of Eldon, and Marsha Hooten of Ottumwa; five grandchildren-Jack (Margaret) Widger of Bloomfield, Jeff Guthrie of Ottumwa, Chris Barnhart of Tulsa, OK, Joey Widger of Eldon, and Shawn Hartman of Ottumwa; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Blanche Stewart of Ottumwa and Phyllis Lane of Oskaloosa; four nephews and one niece.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hershell, a step-son, Kevin Widger, two brothers-in-law, Thomas Lane and Robert Stewart.

She has been cremated and there will be no services. A time to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
