Ottumwa, Iowa - Stanley Dean Shedenhelm, 77, of Ottumwa, died at 2:20 p.m. April 29, 2026 at Vista Woods Care Center.
He was born April 29, 1949 in Ottumwa to Harley and Helen Jones Shedenhelm.
Stan graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1967. He moved to California where he worked as a mechanic alongside his brother, moving back to Ottumwa in 2005.
Surviving are his children, Sandy Rogers of Ottumwa, Serena Shedenhelm of Michigan and Stacie Regis of Texas; his siblings, Ronald Shedenhelm, Linda (Jim) Stogdill, Steven Shedenhelm, Daniel (Karen) Shedenhelm, Cheryl Shedenhelm and Karen Milom; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joann Meeker; and a brother, Robert Shedenhelm.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
